If that doesn’t catch your interest, then I can’t help you here. This is book 1 of the Georgetown Vampires series and I didn’t know what to expect. Despite the pace throwing me off a bit, the overall story was nothing like what I could have possibly imagined! The “best friend’s brother” forbidden romance trope has been one that’s grown on me since doing all these reviews and there’s a bit of fighting that happens. Lots of mystery, drama, suspense. As the debut of Kate’s authorship, I am impressed. Looking forward to seeing wht Book 2 has in store for us.
