Dani Galliaro never disappoints! I’m thrilled that the chronic illnesses mentioned in this book are getting a light shone on them. As someone with Lupus, it’s wonderful to see more relatable characters in books. Mara and Jack are amazing together! It’s like one of those stories where the main characters come from hard pasts and need something to uplift them and heal from within. Jack having faced a difficult divorce made him super protective but Mara is so kind and just struggling as a single mom. Who knew that one their kids were friends with each other? The pace is fast but just right enough for this because everything was easy to follow, smooth transitions. Amazing story, you have to read it.
