Book 2 of the Spell Caster’s series picks up right after Costi and Layla who they are to each other so you need to read The Spell Caster to find out what that’s all about.
I waited what felt like a long time for this book and now I have to wait again to find out what happens next! 😩 This book has a much heavier atmosphere in it now that Costi and Layla discover there’s more than just random attacks by the angels. And because of their unique power and politics, many are getting in their way. But, the bond between Witch and Guardian is deep. Costi will do anything to protect Layla and it is fierce. Add in a blossoming romance and you hit all the emotional spots. Plenty of twists, turns, and suspense as the mystery into who’s really calling the shots deepens. And it add to the pain, a cliffhanger 🫠 Once again, I’m jabbing my Kindle to get to more of the story and there is none! 😫 Do a I need book 3 right now? Heck yeah because reasons!
Demon Familiar is available to read for free on KU and so is The Spell Caster so you can binge the whole thing and then feel wounded like I am.
