Shaedes of Power

I love the world that was made in this book! Such a fascinating concept where humans and faeries are kept separate and it’s modern day. The idea that faeries are protectors to humans is pretty interesting. Also interesting is the difference in the “Shaedes”. Not only do some have elemental powers but healing and knowledge. And while they are from different realms, the interaction between Ferris and Opal (as well as the other fae) is so fluid. But also, the tension between Opal and Amira is kinda crazy, especially in the beginning. Everything about this book just works! You have to check this book out.
