Loved this so much! Shelby is an amazing author and one of my favorites/ go to whenever a book is coming out. The woman just writes magic 🤩 This is not just a cowboy romance, it’s a journey of survival and persistence. Blythe had no choice but take on the responsibility of raising her young niece and nephew, hiding who they all are in case anyone tried to find them. Arthur is this character you can’t help but love and hate.

Having been saved by Ronan, he’s practically duty bound to the man in finding the children. He didn’t bank that Blythe would make him feel things he never had before, nor did he expect her to be so strong for them.

Having been her first fantasy novel, Shelby did a wonderful job writing this. It’s not far off from the westerns she usually writes, just a step further with extra elements in it. I love western and I love fantasy. This is their love child and I am all for it. Definitely a book worth reading late into the night!
