While this is book 2 of the Mila Kiss Mysteries Series, you can read this as a standalone. I would say read Book 1 just for some background into the characters and location. I love the consistency of the covers. Somehow it just works for this series so I hope it stays that way. Love the writing of this author as she really kept my attention to the story. The characters are great and Mila is just this bad ass FMC able to face the challenges given to her. Loving this series so much! Looking forward to the next book!
