This was a really good book full of emotion, coming of age, saving family history and integrity. There’s a good bit of drama as Josie is worried about losing her family’s ranch and Shawn is feeling the pressure of being one of the top riders in his category. Miscommunication and misunderstanding tear these two apart as their lives travel down a parallel they don’t realize they’re on until discoveries were made on who was going to buy Josie’s family ranch.
I wanted to punch all of the adults because I was so mad for both of them. Parents with high expectations is one thing, determining the future of their children is another. I felt all of the ups and downs reading this and I loved it very much.
Thank you to Colored Pages Book Tours, Liara Tamani and Epic Reads for the gifted copy.
