So… the idea was there. The execution… well…

My fear that they would get a hold of a piece of the glue is now overridden by the fact that Sunny (girl cat, murderer of plushies) has pulled the pieces out like the stuffing guts of her victims. (Ignore the state of the bedsheet. They’ve terrorized it over the winter so it’ll be thrown out soon).
However, it seems like both cats think it’s a game when the pieces go back in and they pull them out again. Not what intended but, since I won’t have time to fix it till the weekend, they’ll get to enjoy pulling cardboard guts out for now.
What am I going to do? I’m thinking of pulling out the guts and glueing the pieces together. I actually have more set aside so it could be a tighter fit. Then glue the collective back in. I fear the hot glue gun but it’s the only way I got to make them secure. I may skip it and let them continue to decimate it 🤷♀️ who knows?
