This book is messed up in a good literary sense. It was gripping, fast paced and intense with a rollercoaster of emotions. It’s crazy how desperate people can be driven to do things in order to make money just to get by. Dell loses her job and the boss refuses to give her her last paycheck. Her sister is in a coma and she and her mom want to get her into private care to keep her alive at home for just one week.
As we join her viewers on a week long streamathon on LiveCast, it’s a backseat view on how stress can play not only on the mental health, but the physical health of a person. It’s a wild ride of ups and downs and all the while you think you know the truth until things start to unravel. This was an intense read and one I thought would spiral terribly out of control. At the end, though, there is peace. But I didn’t expect it to end the way it did.
