Thank you to Novel Tours and Gina Giordano for the gifted copy and having me on this tour.

I want to be honest in saying that this whole series was tough to read, in that the author put in the raw reality of the time period in this series. Truly putting the history in this historical romance. You have to read the books in order to grasp the progression of the story and it was worth the struggle. I appreciated the challenge in such a well written series.

In the final installment of the Strange Eden Trilogy, everyone believes that Charles is dead after he disappeared. But Eliza believed he was still alive and we follow her on her journey. We also get Charles POV on his own quest for survival to return home. Brutal, dark, emotional, (again) raw in the historical context. The world building is beautiful and the detailing is just enough to fully understand how the atmosphere is at every scene. I’m so glad I got the chance to read this. It’s not my usual subgenre but I knew this series would be something special.

Color of Fire is available in ebook and paperback.
