⚔️Knight of the God King 👑
I have to admit, despite reading about the book, how it all went down was not what I anticipated. Definitely on the younger end of YA Fantasy, where we follow Cali as she tries her best to navigate life as a knight for the God King Deus Rex. I felt this was like a coming of age where she had a lot to deal with. Beric is also a great character who had to endure a lot at a super young age! I was so surprised when I read he was within the King’s court since he was a boy!
But, I swear I was going to yeet this book because of her cousin 😤 I will say no more on the subject except that I was yelling into my book to give her the boot 🥾I am glad I was able to have the chance to read this though, because it was a lot of ups and downs and tense moments.
